Mark Christensen serves as Chief People Officer at GPA, with a focus on leadership development, organizational culture, and building meaningful professional communities that strengthen long term business relationships.
Mark brings more than 20 years of experience across human resources, talent strategy, organizational development, and executive leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with HR leaders, executives, founders, and business communities to foster authentic connection, trust, and collaborative growth.
In addition to his role at GPA, Mark is Co-Founder and Chief People Officer of Connectors Compass, a community designed to bring HR and business leaders together through intentional relationship building and shared professional development. His background also includes leadership roles with LifeGuides and extensive involvement within the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) community, where he has spent years supporting HR professionals, conferences, chapters, and strategic partnerships.
