On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, important changes to Gerber Life’s Guaranteed Life product for the state of New York will go into effect, including updated applications to reflect the new maximum issue age of 75. On November 16, applications that do not contain the 0822 revision date will no longer be accepted.
Starting on this date, you will receive notification that pending applications with an issue age over 75 will be closed out. Gerber Life will mail a letter to the applicant directing them to contact you, the agent, with any questions they may have.
Outdated and closed out applications will not be returned to agents.
We encourage you to reach out to your impacted applicants to have the application re-written on the correct application forms.
